Also, the release date for this album isn't 2008. It never left my side in college, which was in 2005-2006.

Surely and unquestionable his best. The apex of his persona of juvenile fears, immaturity, innocence, romanticism and implicit sexual drive. It's sad that he chucked it all away completely on his subsequent albums. Also I love that strong and ubiquitous violin which he dropped to a certain extent further on... Also I enjoy his rather remote and lofty lyrics and imagery behind the songs here. Prolly, This Weather is the culmination of his instrumentalist-indietronica era which is closest to my soul strings if picking out from his rich heritage.

When you start listening to this album, you are a convict for all 42 minutes, cause there is no way you can turn it off or skip songs. To the date, it is the only album I know in which every song is perfect.

Patrick is a genius. It's hard to believe that someone so young could create such a masterpiece. I mean, wasn't he like 21 when this record was released? And yet, it's a perfect album--poetic, filled with imagery, and magical, in a way. It always transports me someplace else when I listen to it.

Perfect. This has been one of my all-time favorite albums since the first time I heard it. After all these years, I still can feel something new when I listen. I love what he did before and after, but this...this is just IT. Beautiful.

This record is not underrated - at least it wasn't before releasing his later music, which I'm not pretty fond of, at all...
