If I were lucky enough to see PJ live, i'd appreciate ANYTHING she played, but here's a playlist i'd LOVE to see...

    1) Legs (Great opener, I can imagine lights coming on, and people screaming as the opening wail comes through the darkness)
    2) Dress
    3) The Sky Lit Up
    4) Grow Grow Grow
    5) Send His Love To Me
    6) The Desperate Kingdom Of Love
    7) When Under Ether
    8) No Girl So Sweet
    9) This Is Love
    10) Down by the Water
    11) The Devil
    12) White Chalk
    13) Sheela-Na-Gig
    14) O Stella
    15) Long Snake Moan

    First Encore;

    16) A Perfect Day, Elise
    17) Me-Jane

    Second Encore;

    18) Rid of Me

I'd LOVE that. :) I think it's flow well too.
  • Guess the lyrics [theme: plants]

    26 Dic 2006, 21:00 de Morinoki

    1. Quote lyrics' fragments somewhat connected with one theme (here: plants).
    2. List the quotations in a random order and the artists' names in an alphabetic order.
    3. Let people guess the songs titles and their performers.
    4. Cross out the recognized lyrics.
    5. Googling is cheating, use only your head and music collection.

I saw the trees crossing the moon
I saw the stars and heaven above
Shine on my own beautiful prayer
Shining on my own beautiful love
    The Sky Lit Up

Dig a little hole, not three inches round
Spit your pit in the hole in the ground
Weep upon the spot for the starving of me!
Till up grow a fine young cherry tree
    Only Skin

How about them transparent dangling carrots
How about that ever elusive kudo
    Thank U

    In the night of matter
    Black flowers blossom
    Feathers on my breath

I'm a tree that grows hearts
One for each that you take
    You're the intruder hand
I'm the branch that you break

  • suggestions, anyone?

Here's the deal. For the past three years I've been working with the amateur drama group of my former high school. Everything is a pretty enthusiastic collaborative effort, from writing the script to stage direction to light and sound design. I'm mostly involved in the writing bit, what with me actually writing scripts for a living & basically, just 'cuz I love writing and working with the guys in the group.

This year we decided to write a play about blogs, the freedom we get in relationships & the spells cast by fascinating people :) So we tossed some ideas around, then I went and wrote the thing & in January we're gonna go into rehearsals, so that we're ready with everything by mid April, when we're attending a national theater festival.

What we need help with is putting the soundtrack together. I've already come up with a list of possible tracks to include & with a general concept for the soundtrack as a whole. …

./Step 1: Open up whatever MP3 program you use and add every song in your collection.
Step 2: Put it on random.
Step 3: Post the first (two) line(s) from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarassing the song. (if it's instrumental or contains less than 20 words - skip it!)
Step 4: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 5: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Step 6: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!
