Our Lady Peace son un grupo de rock nacidos en Canadá que se formó en 1993. Su primer disco, Naveed, no apareció en España, pero sí lo ha hecho Clumsy, su segundo trabajo. El álbum se publicó en Canadá a principios del año pasado y, aunque aquí aparece con un considerable retraso, eso no es óbice para reconocer la calidad de la banda. Con esencia post–grunge y con formas hardrockeras, Raine Maida, Mike Turner, Jeremy Taggart y Duncan Coutts se curran un álbum que merece la pena, ha tenido mucha repercusión en su mercado natal y puede ser una buena oferta dentro de la escena alternativa.
Actitud de punk, arreglos en los que no se desprecian teclados y construcciones muy modernas y llamativas para una banda que se sale de la norma.

@krizbits000 Because when Mike Turner was part of the band they actually made good music... not that mush they now dare call music. His departure and Bob Rock's influence signaled OLP's loss of artistic integrity. The art rock touches they had, Raine Maida's vocals and Taggart's drumming have never been the same after that. Everything has been diluted to produce this unoriginal modern sound that emulates a million other bands, They said they wanted a more modern guitar sound and a player capable of more experimental playing capacity. All they did was muck up a dynamic that had worked so well up to Spiritual Machines. Steve Mazur is a capable player but nothing he does is even close to experimental and to be honest he has nothing special going for him he's just "another" guitar player.
