Oceansize es un quinteto originario de Manchester, Inglaterra. Formada en 1998, la banda editó tres discos hasta el momento; Effloresce (2003), Everyone Into Position (2005), y Frames (2007), más una suma de varios EP’s y singles.
Entre sus influencias se encuentran Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath y CAN, y su estilo es comparable con bandas como Radiohead y Porcupine Tree (banda de la cual fueron teloneros).
