Don't you think this is some kind of exaggeration to impose using his name in Urdu or whatever as "the only proper tag" to preserve a "lingual integrity"? To be honest, without tranliteration it would have been harder to get into his music by potential Western listener. Don't try to change the history - he recorded as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, not as نصرت فتح علی خان.
