Coming back to this shoutbox years later, I regret a little bit my earlier comment about "sickening" lyrics. I don't mind them that much anymore and I still enjoy the music immensely. And Neal is of course free to write music about the subjects that are closest to his heart anyway.

Wow, I'm seeing some people below who like his music but are complaining about it being "preachy" and having "sickening Christian lyrics" and that it would be "better if it didn't have Christian lyrics." Well, for Christians like myself, Neal Morse is a breath of fresh air. I mean, I like bands like ELP and Asia, but a big complaint among many Christians is that there hasn't really been any Christian Progressive Rock bands. The Neal Morse Band gives us Christians what we have been wanting for quite a while: great music that aligns with our faith.

I wish that the lyrics wheren't so Christian focused. Neal's music is great, but it would be even better if it didn't have Christian lyrics, or at least downplay the Christian themes.

Wonderful song...well except for the sickening Christian lyrics. Somehow manages to be more epic in 5 minutes than the other longer songs on the album.
