I like to queue up the Non-Electronic songs only, which makes for a pretty rad 6 Song EP. The Death Metal songs are actually quite good, and pick up where Domination left off (which was already moving in a more accessible, but not sucky direction). Those 6 songs actually beat the shit out Heretic (Which also has a shit-ton of horrible filler interludes), and half of Gateways. Bummer the negativity probably got David Vincent and Destructhor kicked out. Steve Tucker is cool and all, but sounds like the typical run-of-the-mill low-energy whoooo whoooo whooo cookie monster death metal vocalist (as opposed to guys with recognizable powerful styles like David Vincent, Corpse Grinder, etc). I actually like the production here. I love Pete Sandoval, but the dude can't tune a drum to save his life.

Weird, but enjoyable at some moments, guilty pleasures almost. Some good idea's, fine solo's but overall too inconsistent. The one thing I never thought to be saying, but the voice of Dave Vincent annoys me pretty much. He sounds like he is better suited for a Hardcore band, or perhaps (what he might be preferring) an Industrial band.

Along with Celtic Frost's Cold Lake, Cryptopsy's The Unspken King and Metallica's St Anger... Worst albums ever!

    6. Good song, nice headbanging moments, cool solo 7. weird and boring industrial metal song that goes absolutely nowhere, the last part sounds pretty death metalish but drum-wise very artificial.. could be a drumcomputer i think... 8. Another quality MA and wellwritten death metal song with interesting occult congregation-like vocals 9. A decent mid-tempo death metal song with a pretty epic solo and a short unexpected and effective melodic climax 10. Again waste of space on the album in the form of rock-ish industrial song about 'copkilling' (unk?!) 11. ..And the end of the album is reserved for a schizophrenic hardstyle song with an evil atmosphere

    1. Typical Morbid Angel-style Dungeons&Dragons-esque interlude/intro 2. Crappy hardstyle/metal crossover song, waste of space on this album 3. Decent MA song, lots of old school Azagtoth-signature riffs in here, some guitar/drum rhythms feel a bit experimental, but it's interesting... 4. Very uptempo song, love it, vocals are bit more extreme sounding than song nr3, possibly best song on album? 5. Interesting guitar intro but kind of a simplistic beat with pretty average guitars through the rest of the song... it's an industrial rock/death metal mash-up i guess, yet it still has a MA vibe...

My only problem with this album is its inconsistency. Honestly a good listen

10 More Dead is the only one worth listening.

Haven't listened to it but Nevermore is one of the best songs they ever made imo.

I like industrial and industrial metal. I like this album quite alright. But I can easily see why people would be upset by this.

The best Morbid Angel album, and I'm not even trolling.

Way to crash and burn, Morbid Angel. Morbid Angel, why in fucks name have you done this to your legacy? From every possible perspective, this album is garbage. The few pure death metal tracks are sub par at best, then the rest is utterly pathetic. I gave it a good, open minded try, but there is no way I can possibly enjoy this album. I guess Morbid Angel doesn't make music for their fans though, but for themselves, so oh well. It's a shame that they decided to make this "artistic" deviation, I'm sure DJ Dubstep Trey and Disco-D are laughing their asses off at this huge troll to their fanbase. These mid life crisis old fucks are so hopelessly out of touch with this generation that they are desperately grasping at youth. Perhaps Morbid Angel hate their fans to the point where they created this atrocity out of spite. All I know is I didn't find it enjoyable and it's almost insulting to the fan base they have accrued over the course of Morbid Angel's reputable track record.

It's not a bad album :) of course it isn't like Altars or Blessed but you can't expect them to do the same thing for 25 years

@dolor3s_ : As someone who listens to industrial aswell most kinds of metal I can safely say that MA did it completely wrong on this album. Hell, wouldn't mind some experimentation but this album did it completely wrong.
