Michael David Watt (nacido el 20 de diciembre de 1957 en Portsmouth, Virginia) es bajista, cantante y compositor.
Es conocido por la co-fundación de las bandas de rock Minutemen y fIREHOSE. A partir de 2003, será también el bajista de la reunificación Iggy Pop y The Stooges.
Aunque Watt no ha tenido mucho éxito a nivel comercial es citado a menudo como una figura clave en el desarrollo del rock alternativo de Norteamérica.
En noviembre de 2008, Watt recibió el premio de la revista Bass Player como homenaje a su carrera de manos de Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers).
