Una de las bandas Suecas más importantes de la escena actual, conformada por Christian Karlsson y Pontus Winnberg (Bloodshy & Avant), los cuales después de producir a artistas pop de la talla de Madonna, Kylie Minogue y Britney Spears, con la que ganaron un Grammy por la canción «Toxic», decidieron crear su propia banda, pero he ahí que ninguno de los dos tenía ni voz, ni presencia ni apariencia que aportar -algo imprescindible en el pop, así que buscaron un músico norteamericano… , -Andrew Wyatt-, de aspecto hippie, y voz de registro setentero (así como experimentado productor), con el que triangularon el duo, dando lugar a la formación Miike Snow, y adoptando al mítico jackalope como emblema.
El resultado es uno de los mejores discos del 2009. Sus sencillos como Black and Blue, Burial y Animal están sonando en todo el mundo.
