As Mewark, Alexander Petrunin released his album Little One on K2o in March 2002. I reviewed it at the time, and remained interested in what the man was up to. It wasn’t much, actually. Only 3 albums in 11 years.
When I recently read on Last.fm that he had died, I initially thought it was a macabre joke. No one dies at 32. It isn’t done, period. Only it wasn’t a joke.
There’s now a page dedicated to him on Facebook. It includes links to free downloads of his albums. I can recommend them to everyone. They’re very, very good.
