Mew es una banda de rock alternativo, considerado pop por otros, nacida en Copenhague, Dinamarca. Caracterizados por un sonido especialmente surrealista y canciones de tono abstracto, la agrupación ha recibido desde los últimos meses numerosos reconocimientos en su natal Dinamarca y recientemente en Londres, donde residen desde que iniciaron su contrato con Sony Music para lanzar su tercer álbum, Frengers (2003). Actualmente cuentan con cuatro materiales discográficos que ilustran su peculiar evolución a desde sus comienzos en 1996, a pesar de que ellos se consideran una banda desde antes de que cualquiera de ellos supiera tocar algún instrumento. Sus presentaciones en su actual Tour en el Reino Unido están llenas de sonido, color y la altísima voz de su vocalista Jonas Bjerre.

Bo Madsen (1976), guitarrista y arreglista.

I remember missing the opportunity to see them live in November. I had no choice, I had a practical examination the following morning that I would not have reached in time because the trains did not run early enough. Even if I have to sit and wait for when they tour the UK again (likely when they release the next album), I'm sure it will be damn worth the wait =D
