Tue 7 Jun – Matt & Kim, The Thermals, DJ AUTOBOT

So, I went to Matt & Kim’s concert at the Czar in Tampa. They had DJ AUTOBOT and The Thermals opening for them. The DJ was okay. Not the best, but still pretty entertaining. The Thermals were really good. I’m going to have to get some of their music. Then Matt & Kim came on.

They put on the most entertaining, energetic, fun concert I have ever been to. From their music to the random bits of other tunes to Kim’s booty dance while standing on fans hands. They had the whole place jumping and moving about - there was so much energy in the building. They started strong with Block After Block and ended even stronger with Daylight. They came back out for an “encore” of sorts with Kim playing a marching drum at the beginning and then both of them just dancing around and spraying confetti.

I would give their stage presence a 10/10 for its awesomeness. This was the best concert I have ever been to. THE. BEST. EVER. It’ll be hard to top too.

Matt & Kim - Block After Block – Matt I Kim wracają. Oczywiście fani bezkompromisowych dźwięków będą zgrzytać zębami, bo to wybitnie przystępna i lekka muzyka pop. Momentami panowie przywołują porównania do Just Jacka, trochę Passion Pit .

Piosenka piękna i nietuzinkowa.

hey guys. i was just thinking....people should listen to better music. there are tons of crappy rap and pop songs swarming the media these days. i wishwishwish so badly that movies, tv shows, iTunes, etc. would promote music that you know, doesn't suck.

here is some music that is awesome. you should check it out.

    1. Camera Obscura - My Maudlin Career
I love them. The lead singer, Tracy Ann Campbell, has such a charming, sad, Scottish voice and it makes my heart cry. These are total rainy day songs and I lovelovelove it.
    Favorite Song: James

    2. Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles
Don't even try to compare #1 and #2 because they are nothing alike. I realize that this is a HUGE jump in genres but Crystal Castles is amazing. I love it because it's such heavy techno and you cannot, even if you try, understand what Alice Glass is saying. Looking up the lyrics for some of these songs (to see what people think she's singing) is quite hilarious.
    Favorite Song: Untrust Us
tied with my other Favorite: Crimewave
