Maria Doyle Kennedy (n. 1964) es una actriz y cantante irlandesa.

En 1988, se casó con el músico Kieran Kennedy.

Su álbum debut, Charm, salió en 2001.Su último disco sealió en 2007 y se llama Mütter («madre» en alemán).

Maria lanza su propia música en Mermaid Records, una compañía discográfica independiente fundada por ella en 2001 e, inicialmente, creada para lanzar Charm. Hasta la fecha ha lanzado cuatro álbums y cuatro singles.

Maria Doyle Kennedy interpretó a Nataly Murphy en la película de Allan Parker, The Commitments (1991) y también ha aparecido en «The Gregory’s Two Girls» (1999), «Nothing Personal», «Moll Flanders» (1996), «The MatchMaker» (1997), «I Could Read the Sky» (1999), «Miss Julie» (1999), «J.J. Biker» (2001), «Mystics» (2002), «Tara Road» (2005) y «Spin The Bottle» (2003).

En 2007 interpretó a Catalina de Aragón en la serie de televisión, Los Tudor, papel por el que ganó el premio IFTA a la Mejor actriz de reparto.

    I discovered her trough the Tudors, and quickly discovered some of her songs. A year after I had bought all her CD's, and I can't stop listening to her sonds. She has an amazing voice, and the lyrics of her sonds are so beautiful. Sometimes you feel like you're watching a movie, because most of her songs are storytelling. She's a great actress, a great songwriter and also a great actress!
