Megadieftw The tapes were lost (so Ving's vocals couldn't be remastered) and Dave was encouraged to try it with his vocals. It's in the liner notes.

GasmaskAvenger interestingly I tried listening to the original Lee Ving version yesterday while on the road but I couldn't quite finish it. At the moment i'm listening to the 2004 Dave Mustaine version (which i'm naturally used to) and I still love it.
