El duo conocido como Loveliescrushing se reunio a pricipios de los 90, cuando la vocalista Mellisa Arpin y el multi-instrumentalista Scott Cortéz deciden probar suerte en la emergente escena del dream-pop. Ellos comenzaron enviando cintas demo de su rareza, profundas capas de música a los sellos hasta que finalmente Projekt contactó a la banda para realizar un sencillo. Your Eyes Immaculate de 1994 fue el resultado, un sencillo que impresionó mucho al sello que un año despues decidio realizar el album completo Bloweyelashwish. El album fue una mezcla de textura eterea, y vocales femeninas sin palabras, y respectivos zumbidos que establecieron aparte de muchos de los sellos de artistas góticos. Cortéz hablaría en voz alta sobre cómo la música fue toda formada por sonidos de guitarra, algo algo que le enorgullecía aunque sólo se le criticaba mucho de usar teclados en el album. La banda regresó al siguiente año con Xuvetyn, otro complicado album de exuberantes sonidos que movieron al sonido propio más lejos en la dirección de música experimental. Pero la banda dejaría despues de promocionar este album, trabajando en un nuevo album de estudio durante años y años mientras que todavia prometen estar juntos. Finalmente ellos anuncian en el 2001 que estaban listos para editar y lanzar el album, aunque el año estuvo sin ninguna noticia acerca del sabroso trozo prometido.
