I've come to a realization that Lost Horizon's got to be some ultimate power metal band. They might not even be my personal favorite band -- although they're really, really close -- but they just seem like they're an enhanced version of other PM bands. :D They're actually pretty basic, yet they're always a bit better at everything than you, vocals, instruments, songwriting, epicness... They are like some improved power metal cyborg! Empowered Power Metal? :D

pretty close to being the greatest power metal band of all time. i might rank blind guardian or virgin steele a little higher, but only because they put out more stuff.

Lost Horizon's A Flame To The Ground Beneath is a masterpiece. And it's easily the best album in all of the power metal genre. And Heiman's vocals... It's simply undescribable.

"talk about wasted potential, I remember ten years ago thinking these guys were going to be one of the genres biggest names, and all we got out of them were two albums. Very sad :(". To me they have made two of the best metal albums of all time. I see Awakening the World as perfection but they somehow topped perfection with AFTOGB. It's great to be able to enjoy two masterpieces. I would only want them to get back together if Daniel was singing otherwise any future material might ruin their perfect discography :P

"to say that those songs are better than 9 albums worth of great material from BG is pretty insane." How so? an album made up of the best tracks from a whole discography can still be less impressive than one studio album from another band. It wouldn't matter if another band had 100 amazing albums to choose from, some people will still see one bands studio album as being the best they have ever heard.

Okay... I can take that as well. Highlander (The One) is one of the best (if not THE BEST) song I've ever heard in my life... :I No matter what the generator is, it is there, and the music is so god damn divine! ._,
