El quinteto está formado por Richie McDonald (lead vocals y Guitar), John Rich (lead vocals and Bass), Michael Britt (lead guitar and background vocals), Dean Sams (keyboard and background vocals) y Keech Rainwater (drums).
Todos los miembros del grupo son originarios de Tejas y se iniciaron musicalmente en Tennesse en el año 1992. En Enero de 1993 hicieron su primer concierto en Backstage Pass en Nashville. Un agente que estaba presente en el show quedó impresionado por su música y los animó a «hacer carretera» y durante dos años tocaron en más de 500 shows. En 1994 lograron firmar un contrato con la discográfica BNA Records. En 1995 efectuaron su verdadero debut musical y lograron el Top Ten Hit con «Tequila Talkin». «Crazy Nights» siguió en 1997 en el cual se incluyó su gran éxito «Amazed». Al final del año 2000 apareció «This Christmas Time» y durante la primavera siguiente publicaron «I’m already there». Después de su recopilatorio de éxitos del año 200 «From There to Here» aparecieron tres álbums más: «Let’s be us again» (2004), «Coming Home» (2005) y «Mountains» (2006). Al final del año 2007 Cody Collins sustituyó a Richie McDonald como lider del grupo con el cual apareció su siguiente album «My Christmas List» que fue distribuido por Cracker Barrel.
