Live es una banda de rock surgida a principios de la década de los 90 en EE.UU. liderada por Ed Kowalczyk. Su discografía es extensa, con un total de siete discos de estudio publicados hasta el 2006. El trabajo que les lanzó a la fama fue Throwing Cooper, publicado en 1994. En este disco se encuentran sus mayores éxitos hasta la fecha Selling The Drama, Lightning Crashes o I Alone. Muchas de sus canciones aún se pueden escuchar hoy en día en las radios alternativas norteamericanas.

In my opinion one of the best bands walking around on this globe. It's a shame their last two albums are not quite as good. I hope they'll come back to Holland anytime soon, because I missed them the last few times.

Haven't listened to any of the albums after V, which, as hohez says, was a real drop from the previous 3-4 albums, so this might be a bit short sighted of me but I'd rank them like this: 1. Throwing Copper 2. Distance to here 3. Secret Samadhi 4. Mental Jewelry (has a few really good songs) 5. The rest... (really lost interest in Live with V). I agree that SS is emotional and has a very tangible mood, guess I just don't like it that much compared to the other albums. That said, Heropsychodreamer and Freaks are the two Live songs I've listened to the most over the last few years and are, I'd say, their best songs.

And I'll have to disagree, Secret Samadhi is a misunderstood masterpiece. The problem was everyone was expecting an accessible follow up to Throwing Copper. Its tone is perfectly moody, it has more emotion than any other Live album in my opinion.
