Life Without Buildings fue un cuarteto de post-punk escocés. Su mayor peculiaridad era la manera medio cantada, medio hablada con la que Sue Tompkins, su vocalista, interpretaba los temas.
Sólo publicaron un muy grandioso álbum «Any Other City» en 2001. Luego lanzaron «Live at the Annandale Hotel», grabado en Australia en 2002.
