Indie pop/rocker Landon Pigg recibió su educación musical informal vía la colección de registro de su padre. Su primer CD poseído siempre estaba al lado de rayo popular Stevens del artista de la novedad. Nació en Nashville de agosto el 6 de 1983, Pigg el hijo de un padre del músico del estudio y de una madre que estaba encariñada con poesía. La familia se trasladó a Chicago brevemente cuando Pigg era un niño, aunque él volvió a Nashville como adolescente. Pronto, Pigg comenzó a cavar más profundo en la música, descubriendo a los artistas que inspiraron eventual su propia música. Él acredita David Mead y Rufus Wainwright para instalar en él un aprecio para una melodía hermosa; Radiohead, que le animó a que expeliera sus emociones en su songwriting; y los iconos de la música de la roca el Beatles y el Zeppelin conducido, para exhibir la importancia de pegadizo se lamen y enganchan. Dice Pigg: «quizá hay un naïveté en mi acercamiento. Nunca tenía una lección de la guitarra cuando comencé hacia fuera.
