Bend in the wind
I feel they've got a lot more sense than me

Give me the vocals of the original version and the arrangements of the new one and Rubberband Girl would be perfect. [6] omg I just can't deal with the DC version's vocals x_x [2] Too soft. I was expecting something tougher, eccentric and harsher to her tone I think. Still good but not my cup of tea when the og is in my library.

Shows how much of a record's power is down to the arrangement. With the new vocal she's got to be taking the piss though - had they all just come back from the pub? (Band: hey Kate, can we pretend to be the Stones? Kate: hmm OK, I'll do my crap Dylan impersonation).

I think this is one of her worst singles, but still better than 90% of other artist's best.

Well the new version of this was unexpected! I haven't quite decided if I love it or not, but I'm veering more in the direction of 'genius decision' each time I listen to it.
