Fri 20 Nov – Alice Cooper, Interitus

Ještě loni jsem se obával, že svého nejoblíbenějšího interpreta naživo nikdy neuvidím a rok poté odcházím podruhé nadšen z jeho koncertu v Čechách. Tentokrát jsem navíc jakožto plzeňák nemusel řešit žádné problémy s dopravou a okolo páté natěšeně opouštím domov.

Těsne před šestou dorazila naše skupinka před hokejovou halu ČEZ a byla mile překvapená, že je mezi prvními nadšenci. Musím pochválit organizaci. Tak hladce jsem se už dlouho nedostal k podiu. Naprosto nic se neprotahovalo a okolo sedmé se otevřely dveře haly. Rychle čapnout nějaký časopis a hurá na plac. Ulovili jsme druhou řadu uprostřed a čekání začalo. Díky časopisům a lidem okolo mě ta hoďka utekla vcelku rychle. A byl jsem mile překvapen, že všechno šlapalo. Začla osmá hodina a Interitus naběhl na scénu. Jejich vystoupení nijak hodnotit nebudu, nejedná se o muziku, která by mě jakýmkoliv způsobem brala. Jen si snad rýpnu do toho, že ač jsem nikdy nešel na jejich koncert, díky jejich předkapelování znám už jejich tvorbu téměř zpaměti. Naštěstí Interitus po cca 40ti minutách poděkovali publiku a uvolnili podium pro velkého principála.

Velká plachta byla natažena a za ní už se chystaly rekvizity, kterých rozhodně nebylo málo. Něco málo zvučení, plachta jde dolů a největší hudební divadlo se rozjíždí. A rozjíždí se opravdu ve velkém. Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) často prohlašuje:"Prostě to do lidí od začátkku sypeme, není potřeba slov." Tohle Cooper splňuje na sto procent. Jeho show jede a jede. Jakmile začíná jedna písnička, člověk už vůbec netuší, co se stalo v předchozí. Intro v podobě School's Out a následná úvodní Department of Youth jasně ukazuje, že všichni muzikanti dorazili ze své poslední slovenské štace bez problémů a jsou v úžasné pohodě. Za bicími sice nesedí král rocku Eric Singer, který se momentálně věnuje aktivitám s KISS, ale Jimmy DeGrasso (bývalý bubeník Megadeth) je výtečnou náhradou. Škoda, že přes fotografy jsme první 4 písničky viděli jen minimum, za což si muži s fotoaparáty vysloužili řadu nadávek. Alice mě mile překvapil, že v setlistu se alespoň dotkl mého oblíbeného alba Brutal Planet a hned ze začátku do nás nasypal Wicked Young Man, při níž si to mašíruje před lidmi. Popisovat show nemá smysl. Nevěřili tomu ani ti, kteří jí viděli na vlastní oči. Smrt se tentokrát konala hned čtyřikrát. Gilotina hned zkraje, šibenice také na Alice nezabrala, tak zkusila jeho dvorní nemocniční sestra Tiffany Lowe ještě injekční stříkačku během Poison. Během ní se už probudili i ti, kteří první část koncertu chytali dech. Na závěr byl ještě král schockrocku prošpikován bodáky a přesto opět ožívá a valí do lidí další hity. Neuvěřitelný návrat v podobě skladby Vengeance is Mine nastartoval poslední třetinu. Tato skladba stejně jako loni získala naživo ještě silnější atmosféru než na desce a Alice Cooper jakožto pavouk, lezoucí po schodech nad hlavami všech platících, byl pro mě jeden z mnoha vrcholů večera. Následná smršť nemá obdoby. Jen zkoukněte setlist, co všechno stihli muzikanti nasypat do lidí během své show. Publikum chytá korálě při Dirty Diamonds, dolary u Billion Dollar Babies, či si háže s balóny u opakování School's Out.

Nepopsatelný zážitek a stejně jako loni se pro mě stalo tohle divadlo koncertem a hudebním vrcholem roku. Klidně bych si z Alice udělal předvánoční tradici. Rozsvícená světla, nepořádek všude kolem a vyčerpáni odcházíme domů. Krásné.

Adam Lamberts debut album For Your Entertainment is going to be released next Monday, 23rd November 2009. It's surely one of the most exciting album releases ever. Because the expectations are set very high since Adam has worked with the biggest producers in the music business and worked with the right now probably most successful and famous singers just like Lady GaGa. And most of all with such an amazing voice and talents you could think nothing can go wrong. And so it is. It has been said that Adams pre-sales for his forthcoming album For Your Entertainment are the highest ever for an American Idol contestant. And he did not even win the show! Seems in the end second is first anyway. Adam is the all-time American Idol Winner. And sure enough he's going to be massive.

Yesterday was a very exciting day for all Glamberts, fans and music interested people because Adams songs have been officially put online to listen to - all of his album songs in full lenghts! You can listen to them on his official Facebook site and on iLIKE.



Sure enough I took the time immediately to listen to all of the songs in full and very concentrated. It is the album I was looking forward to so much since I've seen Adam on TV the very first time on American Idol. I was truly impressed by his amazing talents and looks and loved him straight away! Now having listened to his album I can say: this is it! This is probably the best album I've ever heard. And I mean it. Each and every song sounds absolutely great! And this is a very rare thing to happen on an album. Most of the songs sound very fresh, cool, sexy and flirty, just like Adam seems to be. He's like a male Lady Gaga but with much more talents. He's absolutely unique and is showing that in his songs. The range of songs is very wide, all of them completely different! There's cool uptempo tunes which make you wanna dance all night long as well as absolutely amazing and touching ballads with stunning vocals. Every song is very surprising. The whole album leaves me simply speechless of happiness and excitemend. I'm absolutely impressed. Everyone go and listen to this album now! And don't forget to add his songs to iLIKE on Facebook and pre-order the album on Itunes, Amazon or wherever you like. It's worth every penny. Amazing tune.

And yes, at first I was really hoping for a rough rock album. Because I absolutely loved Adam's performances with Whole Lotta Love, Ring Of Fire and the KISS Medley. So I was kinda disappointed to hear that the album will mainly not be rock but rather glam pop dance kinda music. But after having heard the album I'm not not disappointed at all any more. Because this sound is truly the way Adam himself is, it fits together perfectly. AND: it is good, very good! Adamazing.
