2nd time hearing this for valentines day. It goes without saying that it could keep on going and going and I'd still be impressed and thankful.

OK, but can't hold a candle to the American Recordings version.

One of the things I love about Cash’s songs is the depth and bleakness of his tales. Think about it, this song has three chords (D, A & E) is about misogamy and cold blooded murder and thus is more akin to a punk song but Cash’s booming baritone carries the listener though. Not only that, it just scares the wifey… Ps. This isn’t the version on American Recordings Vol.1. I HIGHLY suggest listening to that version, it’s so much more vicious.

Epic. I love the patter of Delia's feet part. So dark.

This song is so hardcore. Very dark. I love Johnny Cash so much. He's the pinnacle of southern rock. At least in my opinion. Being that he doesn't seem to have that tag.

Waylon Jennings' version of Delia is very different and in some opinion it's perhaps better than Johnny's. Check it out!
