amazingly relaxed album and i agree with eimajtl that it is a bit morbid, but maybe that is why its so beautiful :) rip johnny.

Didn't like this album as much as the previous ones, but it's still awesome. It's also pretty morbid when you listen to the songs and consider the fact that he's no longer living.

This album is even better than I expected. It consists of songs from the same sessions as A Hundred Highways, and I am really surprised at the quality of these songs. It leans very heavily toward gospel and spiritual music, and it is an excellent memorial to Johnny and his life.

This is a great companion to A Hundred Highways. And I've never been much of a Sheryl Crow fan, but his version of Redemption Day is knockout.

    1. Cant wait to hear this. American IV is by far my fav, although everything that Johnny ever did was way better than anything you hear from current artists in the industry. 2. People like Teelop who don't know what they are talking about shouldn't open their mouths (or wiggle their fingers in this case?).

no you're wrong he made a lot of songs. the recording kept him alive and he made like a lot of songs to make 10 cds but when he was alive he only published like 2 cds or something like that and what he doesent liked or just recorded for fun are in the managers hand so he realising these tracks .
