GERRYGUITAR: Tomita used a Melotron to get his symphonic patches (Moog-processed, of course). Nothing wrong with that, though, the result is stunning artistry that transcends the classical genre and electronica too, for that matter. No one has the time and patience anymore to attempt the complexity required to create these amazing auras.

I like the groups of parabolas at the end that seem to reach to infinity. It's even better than the original.

Out-fucking-standing. One of the best renditions of this I've ever heard. Debussey would be chuffed to death to hear his stuff played like this. Well done Jap.

this is pure favorite composer and a master of musical technology...Tomita really shows his artistry here...I think Debussy would have wept upon hearing this...truly completes the circle begun when Claude heard that gamelan in Paris...this music makes me visualize giraffes dancing on knobbed gongs...

No presets in those days, he had to programme every sound himself... wonderful symphonic notes, sounds and tectures! All from Moog's wall of electronics, patched to form sounds... incredible! To get the strings, flutes, voice... I bow in awe! R.I.P. Genius!!!
