A fila meio que assustou qdo chegamos na porta do clash na rua barra funda, no final da tarde, começo de noite de domingo.. Mas a heineken na mão, fazia a apreensão pela fila meio comprida e meu ingresso ainda "embargado", nem ser tão grande assim . Me postei ali com meu mp3 velho ouvindo coisas dissonantes..a fila andava, conversas moles na espera da abertura da casa..Estava eu ali, um "Renegado do Terra", esperando como prêmio de consolação, o show do meu amado interpol.
Meu ingresso chegou, a fila andou e pude perceber que a casa não era tão acanhada ao mesmo tempo que dava pra ver o palco de qquer distãncia..meu tipo de lugar.. A espera foi lascitante, causticante, ja se ouvia apupos dos mais apressadinhos e chatos..eu tbm me irritava..mas a espera seria por algo bom eu sabia..sabia..
Qdo passaram, pela rampa da "Ala Vip" em direção ao palco todo aquele "mimimi" deu lugar a satisfação e alegria.. …

Vie 12 Nov – The Drums, Patrick Cleandenim, Two Wounded Birds

En pie a las 4 de la madrugada, tras muy pocas horas durmiendo. Aeropuerto, vuelo y Barajas a las 8. Poco a poco vamos llegando todos los interesados a la capital.

A las 8 de la tarde marchamos hacia la Heineken, desconociendo a los teloneros (nos compramos la entrada pronto y no ponía quién iba a actuar). Entramos a la sala a falta de dos canciones para que terminaran Two Wounded Birds así que no puedo decir mucho de ellos. La última canción estuvo bien. Nos plantamos en tercera fila ya que todavía no estaba la gente muy agolpada y allí nos quedamos toda la noche.
Tras un breve descanso, salió Patrick Cleandenim. Desde ya me declaro fan de él. Solo, con la música pregrabada, vestido completamente de negro, con la cara y lentillas blancas. Sonido ochentero total. Desde la primera canción ya me encantó y el concierto fue supercorto. Vale, era un telonero, pero un par de canciones más no me hubieran disgustado. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Fri 29 Oct – Interpol, White Rabbits

So I showed up a bit late, and forgot that shows at Verizon Wireless actually begin at the time listed. That's a bit of an odd thing for me to get used to; since I usually show up at venues and wait about an hour for bands to finish getting set up and everything. Anyway, as a result of that, I missed the majority of White Rabbits's set. It's a shame too, because the last couple of songs I got to hear sounded really good. I'm not really familiar with the band, but I'll definitely check them out now that I've seen them. Anyway, Interpol took the stage about 40 minutes after White Rabbits finished up, opening their set with album opener Success. It's an okay song, but was ultimately the weakest in their lineup that evening. Much to my chagrin, the band stuck mostly to material from their first two albums, and played only (what I consider to be) the best tracks from their most recent self titled album. …
