@lyle_catcliffe That is a great way to describe Ice Cube's discography. The first three LP's and Kill at Will are indeed all classic, quality hip-hop.

If you don't have Ice Cube in your top ten then you're not Hip-Hop, you're just a Hip-Hop fan.

Lethal Injection has a lot of charm. But those first 3 albums / EP are incredible.

Prayer for re pardon the hard diffracted by volume 1 prayer of a miserable when he languishes and out his complaint before the LORD. 2 Lord, hear my prayerand let my cry come before you! 3 not hide your face when I am in trouble before me!Incline your ear to me; when I call answer me speedily! 4 For my days are like a smoke disappeared, and my bones are glows like fire. 5 My heart was scorched and withered like grass; for I forget to eat my bread. 6 From my loud groan stuck my bones my flesh. 7 I am like the pelican in the wilderness,am like an owl of ruins. 8 I am sleepless and suit like a lonely bird on the roof. 9 incessantly blaspheme me my enemies;raging against me are sworn against me. 10 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with tears 11 because of your indignation and thy wrath; for thou hast lifted up and hurled me. 12 My days are like a shadow elongated, and I am withered like grass.

    >>"The album was charged with controversy, and he was accused of misogyny and racism. Subsequently, Ice Cube appointed the female rapper Yo-Yo (who appeared on AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted) to the head of his own record label and helped produce her debut album, Make Way for the Motherlode." As a female I think people are oversensitive with feminist issues. Everybody knows urban culture is and has been behind the curve with gender equality, perpetuated by actual prostitution, sex trade, groupies, etc. Does that make rappers view of women correct? No. Does that mean it's a bad influence to young and stupid, malleable minds? Yes. Does that mean we should shut off free speech and pretend it isn't happening? ABSOLUTELY NOT. This starts a conversation, just like every other form of controversial art.
