:-) TripleM 25 September, 2013 by Dave-O H&C National Tour It’s the news Hunters fans around the country have been waiting forThe mighty Hunters & Collectors today announced their first tour since 1998 performing ten A Day On The Green concerts nationally, followed by two special indoor concerts at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and Melbourne’s Palais Theatre. Mark Seymour is very excited about rejoining former band mates Jack Howard, Michael Waters, Jeremy Smith, Doug Falconer, Barry Palmer and John Archer in this long-awaited reformation tour. “The reputation of the band – its iconic status, so to speak – was built up over constant touring, just this relentless approach to getting out there and playing for years and years and years," said Seymour. "It was very much about being in a pub and having thousands of people jammed into a room, with this big, incredible sound. There was unity, there was pride and a total lack of bulls**t."

Come to think of it, why isn't "Is There Anybody in There?" in the top tracks? It's by far the catchiest, most dynamic song of H&C.

Great band. When Human Frailty came out, I thought they were the best band. "Dog" and "99th Home Position" were songs that transformed me.

I really enjoyed this band back in the late 80's and early 90's. I finally copied my CD library to my pc and am already enjoying them all over again :)

True believers is one of the most criminally underrated Aussie songs ever. They are so much more than a 'bogan' band.

Hunters & Collectors were my first "real" live experience. Moshing amongst slippery sweaty men with no tops:) BRILLIANT live band.
