Llegan desde Murfreesboro (Tennessee) y, aunque suene a tópico, te van a deslumbrar de verdad. El cantante Jon Burr (un frontman que hipnotiza a la primera), Denis Deck, Adam Richardson, Andy Spore y Rick Bizness visten como padrinos de boda y facturan un pop radiante y sin complejos. Grabado en Nashville, su epé de debut, Let’s Go (06), sólo tiene hits en toda regla: Fat Girls Talkin’ Bout Cardio ,
Killing Machine, Secret Identity … y así podríamos seguir hasta los más de treinta que dicen tener guardados en la recámara. Aunque ellos dicen estar influenciados por Devo, ABBA, la ELO, los Jackson 5, y The Cars, en realidad prefieren definirse como ‘baladistas armados con bayonetas’, o como ‘Orson Welles enfundado en un traje de Cupido’. Palpitante new-wave que rebota en tu cabeza entretejida por sofisticados sintes, frenéticas guitarras, insaciables melodías y puntuales vocoders sin miedo a nada.
A principios del 08 lanzaron el temaHarvest como anticipo a una serie de EPs lanzados a través de su página web www.howibecamethebomb.com. El primero, Volume I: Who Dares Wins se puso a disposición el 5 de Noviembre del 08 incluyendo Tomorrow’s Date , A Formal Occasion y Salvage Mission.
El grupo tiene planeado lanzar de esta manera una serie de EPs que serán recopilados al final de año en el CD, vinyl, DVDs, Annual que contendrá también temas extra. Los vídeos incluirán Salvage Mission y «A Formal Occasion».
