He Is Legend es una banda de Rock/Post Hardcore/Southern Rock, formada en Wilmington, Carolina del Norte. Actualmente su discográfica es Solid State Records.
La banda consiste en el vocalista Schuylar Croom, el guitarrista Adam Tanbouz, baterista Steven Bache, el bajista Matt Williams y el guitarrista Mitch Marlow.
Las raíces de la banda se remontan a los años 1990’s cuando Adam Tanbouz, Steven Bache, Matt Williams, el guitarrista McKenzie Bell y el vocalista Schuylar Croom comienzan a escribir y a tener presentaciones en Wilmington, NC. En el 2003, habiendo previamente tocado bajo el nombre de Stronghold, No One Wins y The Uriah Omen, el nombre He Is Legend fue adoptado por Tanbouz, Bache, Bell, Croom y Williams. Después de lanzar su primer EP en Junio del 2004 titulado 91025, la banda se unió a Solid State Records y lanzó su primer album en Nomviembre. I Am Hollywood fué de aceptación masiva y la banda inmediatamente empezó a experimentar popularidad que los llevó más allá de su natal Carolina del Norte. Después de casi dos años de un prolongado tour en Estados Unidos y Europa, la banda fué temporalmente reubicada en California para grabar su próximo lanzamiento. Suck Out The Poison fué lanzado el 3 de Octubre del 2006 y provocó comentarios diversos de los fanáticos durante un largo tiempo. Fué evidente, sin embargo, que la banda creía firmemente en el álbum y como el resultado fué largamente indiferente a menudo fueron criticados cruelmente por fanáticos ofendidos. Su descuidada respuesta fué retratada en el video de la canción «Attack of the Dungeon Witch» la cual fue lanzada en Marzo del 2007.

Instead of trying to find another band like He Is Legend (because there isn't one), I find it more satisfying to listen to bands that influence them. Queens of the Stone Age, Pantera, Foo Fighters, High On Fire, Isis and a lot of stuff from Hydra Head Records. As a guitar player, it's cool to see where Adam draws inspiration from.

hehe I just recommended them to noahjohnston, but if people like songs like Stampede or some of that southern feel on SOTP and can take if it's a notch harder (but still poppish in some parts) everybody should definitely try The Holly Springs Disaster - Motion.Sickness.Love. Next to Schuylar and Keith from ETID, Mike Froh is/was probably one of the most versatile vocalists around.
