Always liked their 1st album when it first came out, I also like Stabbing Westward... but I hate-no despise NIN... awful overrated crap!

plahoop i see what you mean when they dont sound similar, but these guys swiped almost their entire first album and a very large chunk of their second album completely from NIN.

It annoys me that almost everyone compares another industrial act with NIN.

well of course they are just part of a wider genre, but when most of their best bits (pretty much all of the first album) sounds like the missing link between broken and the downward spiral, then yes they sound like NiN, the band evolved and their sound changed moving into their own sound and style, but their best work is the stolen stuff from trent!

Industrial Rock is a genre. Just because a band happens to be in it, doesn't mean they sound like NIN, which didn't even invent the genre. That's like saying all disco sounds like The Village People. Killing Joke probably is more responsible for the basic sound than any other band. If anything, they probably sound more like KMFDM. But yeah, it would be nice if they came back. Rock sucks now, so they don't have much competition.

All though their 3rd studio album "Superstarved" did not do well or recieved popularity, the album is still at least bad-ass and f**king cool, songs on the album like "Suffocate", "Wide awake" and "Personal Jesus" were totally awesome!

I utterly destroyed their self titled album listening to it so much. I never thought they sounded like Nine Inch Nails, but did sound similar to Stabbing Westward.
