  • I hate music

I did this a while ago (i insulted my top 125!), but most of my top fifty didn't reflect my current listening status. i will now do this again since i have reset my charts and have over 5000 plays. wish me luck.

1.Gore Beyond Necropsy - All your songs sound exactly the same. All of your cover art is the same. Way to recycle the same five topics in every one of your retardedly big discography. if you are going to write lyrics in English you should probably learn how to speak it properly. faggots.

    2. Blood Duster - This band fucking sucks ass, and I'm not just saying that because i have to in this post. The only reason you have so many plays because you have so many shitty fucking songs, and I listen to 2 albums by you and you will never leave my top 50 even after 5 months. I really fucking hate this band and anyone who listens to their weak ass wanna-be grind should be castrated and force fed their own dicks.

    3. Usurp Synapse - Hey you want to be artsy? Then don't be in a fucking…

i've gotten so much new music in the last two weeks its disgusting.

Paracoccidioidomicosisproctitissarcomucosis/Butcher ABC - Split CD: ok we all know Paracoccidioidomicosisproctitissarcomucosis has the most ridiculous band name of all time. to bad it doesn't help there song writing prowess. they fucking suck ass. boring ass grindcore on the death metal side of the coin. if it wasn't for their name, no one would listen to them. the Butcher ABC side however, is reason enough to get this record. totally sick grind the reminds me of the best stuff Regurgitate ever did but played sloppily to the point were it sounds like the band could fall apart at any second. totally sick.

Scissor Shock - We're In The Trash Bag CD: I wish this was longer as it's just over 10 minutes. It's insane digi-grind that totally fucks your mind. it sounds like the songs were recorded at normal pace then sped up for added intensity making songs really hard to follow, but in a good way. i love this.

Live electronic music. It almost seems like an oxymoron. How can electronic music be “live” when it consists of a series of sequenced drum programs and synthesizers. You could literally press play on your laptop and walk away from the stage.

Musicians do play electronic music live and until fairly recently it’s been a dull affair. The usual live experience is to see a one or two dudes on stage leaning over their laptops looking as if they we’re earnestly answering an email. But that’s been changing. More and more artists are incorporating analogue gear into their repetoire. The hardware and software is increasing adapting itself to improvisation and it’s not uncommon to see tradition instruments playing alongside their digital brethren.

I’m particularly enamored with live electronic music because I’ve been around long enough to see its development. From synthpop to hip hop to industrial to glitch, each year the experience becomes more and more organic and exciting.
  • A list of Splendid Splendidness

This entry serves two main purposes: one is sort of useful and the other(s) is/are utterly stupid.

First, the stupid reasons: to pimp this link in the artist pages of everyone I listen to, to shamelessly get people to click on it, and to annoy those who did.

Second, to test a PHP script which automatically extracts data from Winamp generated HTML playlists - so I can honestly say that this DOES contain everything on my playlist at the time I made this entry.
