Five for fighting es el nombre artístico del cantautor americano John Ondrasik. Su primer álbum, el aclamado por la crítica, «Mensaje Para Albert» fue publicado en 1997.» Su segundo disco, publicado en 2000, tuvo ventas de platino Ciudad del América en los EE.UU. debido en gran medida al éxito de la canción «Superman (It’s Not Easy)». John se sumó a las superestrellas Paul McCartney, Elton John, Billy Joel y otros para los ya legendarios post 9 / 11 actividades de recaudación de fondos en el concierto de Nueva York, que rinde homenaje a todos los bomberos, policía y paramédicos afectados por los acontecimientos del 11 de septiembre. El álbum de 2004 La Batalla por el Todo, con el popular «100 Años», también ha gozado de éxito en el gráfico de los Estados Unidos. El cuarto álbum, Two Lights, con «El enigma» y «Mundo» fue publicado el 1 de agosto de 2006. El único hit de radio «Mundo» se ha convertido en un himno a la hora de hacer la pregunta ¿»qué clase de mundo es lo que quieren?» Five for fighting cuenta con el primer CD y DVD en directo, titulado Live, respectivamente, y Vuelta País Live, fueron puestos en libertad el 6 de noviembre, 2007.
