Fear Before The March Of Flames, ahora llamados Fear Before, banda oriunda de Aurora, Colorado. Su sonido es una mezcla experimental de mathcore, metal y post-hardcore. Se formo en el año 2002 en Denver, EE.UU., con David Marion (vocalista), Adam Fisher (guitarra), Michael Madruga (bajo) y Brandon Proff (bateria). Lanzaron su disco debut titulado «Odd How People Shake» en el 2003, siendo relanzado en Enero del 2004. La banda tomó su nombre de un titular del periódico local, cuando los incendios forestales barrieron a través de su estado.
En el 2004 se lanzo a la venta su 2º disco titulado «Art Damage» que deja atras todo el indie mathcore del disco anterior, para dar paso a un sonido mas musicalmente completo y a la vez agresivo, pero sin dejar los cortes completamente desgarradores que caracterizan a FBTMOF. En este año la banda comparte escenario con bandas como «Evergreen Terrace» y «Norma Jean», tambien es la banda sonora de la serie de television Master of Horror con el tema «237».
En junio del 2006 la banda toco con 7 Angels 7 Plagues en el show de despedida.
Lanzaron su tercer disco el 19 de septiembre del 2006 titulado «The Always Open Mouth»
Un material en el cual señalan los integrantes de la banda, hicieron la musica que siempre han querido hacer.
Proff dejó la banda para seguir una carrera docente, remplazado por Clayton «Goose» Holyoak. Zach Hutchings (guitarrista), Billy Johnson (guitarrista/teclista) se incorporaron.
En el 2004 se lanzo a la venta su 2º disco titulado «Art Damage» que deja atras todo el indie mathcore del disco anterior, para dar paso a un sonido mas musicalmente completo y a la vez agresivo, pero sin dejar los cortes completamente desgarradores que caracterizan a FBTMOF.
