Groves89, yes, like cjkisaragi said, " It's all worth listening to". U can start with "Krautrock" from "Faust IV" and "Miss Fortune" from "Faust". Two masterpieces. Noise rock like VU, collage music like Frank Zappa, poetry (in the end of Miss fortune) worthy of Dylan and an industrial ambience that nobody ever had in that years. Enjoy

There's nothing that feels better than listening to their first album and actually liking it.

Question about "Why Don't You Eat Carrots?": is the question being asked to somebody who doesn't eat carrots as they are against them (ie. "Why Don't You Eat Carrots?" - "Because they're shit, that's why!"), or is it more like somebody is suggesting you eat carrots (ie. "I'm really hungry and would like to eat something orange." - "Why Don't You Eat Carrots?"). This question really eats at me, no pun intended. [2]

D'où le : "just an hypothesis."

Additionally, as well, I also thought that I would believe you if you told me Something Dirty was released in 1971

It's not much to do with how 'good' a musician you are, it's what you make out of what you have. It doesn't have to be correct, it just has to be right. I'd much rather listen to this kind of exploring than some technoflash egowank million-notes-a-second playing, this says far more to me than that ever could.

krautrock it's a vanguardist movement, it is not a prog subgenre.... Agree with jiveraptor.[2]

Agree with jiveraptor. Actually, while listening to Faust I think about Karlheinz Stockhausen and Harry Partch more than King Crimson.

The first 3 tracks from Something Dirty really stand out.I believe it's the best work both ''Faust'' bands have released since the break-up.
