Happy 89th birthday to Scotty Moore, Elvis Presley's guitarist. Well Scotty Moore would have been 89 today.

What were Elvis Presley's thoughts on Elvis Costello? That's if Costello was known while Presley was still alive.

According to Costello's Wikipedia page, his first album was released in 1977. Just missed The King!

R.I.P., we lost the King of Rock 'n' Roll forty three years ago today. Rest in power, Elvis Presley!

Ok, it's 51 on Top Tracks, so I understand why you would say that. But... He has so many famous songs, and 358.1K scrobbles doesn't scream underrated if you ask me. Yes, It deserves all its love and respect, and I believe it gets that. Not as much as Heartbreak Hotel or Hound Dog, but come on.

Many family drives were soundtracked with the voice of The King as we often put it to vote what music to play. Elvis was an easy choice for all of us. Dad loved him especially. Losing my father last month has me revisiting our favourite music. It's hard, but it's been a great source of comfort too.

Невъебенно охуенен. И во многом потому, что движения ног сплагил у олигофрена из городка Гринбоу, штат Алабама.

I have memories of listening to the compilation Rocker in the 1990's growing up. That's how I was introduced to Elvis Presley. I listened to it during car rides when I was about 8 years old or so. I had that in my portable tape player constantly. I recommend that to anyone who is interested in listening to Elvis!

The internet is a highway filled with trolls who forget they have a toilet paper list sticking out of their asses with all their misdeeds for none to see. Every accusatory post they make should be randomly prefaced by one of those misdeeds and an attached phone number. Let's see how much finger pointing would come out of that lot. what do you think Igrabbedsusieboobin6thgrade 345-xxx, soldknowingliybaddrugs455-xxxx, iripoffmovies333-xxx, ilieeverydayintheovaloffice +1 202-456-1111 etc....

What do you want people to do? Throw Elvis' skeleton in the jail? Just because he did something bad it doesn't mean we need to stop listening to his great music. For exemple... the Nazis were bad but I'm sure you use something that was created by them, like aspirin.

No, it's absolutely not a bad thing. But I just see him more like 'one of the 50s rock and roll musicians' instead of 'THE 50s rock and roll musician'. But I guess you're right in the other things. I'm just wondering, because he never impressed me in the way other big names like The Beatles, Michael Jackson or Frank Sinatra did.
