I have my doubts about Cooper singing in this tune, if he had such a charming voice we would have heard it earlier than this. Pitchfork might as well be mistaken. But then again, Ambient can easily forgo vocals but there're a number of bands that really flourish their music greatly in so doing. Take Auburn Lull.

I don't really think he sounds British.. but I only listened a couple of times (and refuse to do so again until the album leaks). Also, Pitchfork references his 'baritone' voice, so I'd assume it's him. I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't, though, and I'd certainly have no idea as to who it would be.

I hadn't heard there were going to be vocals before I started listening to the new song, so I was quite taken aback at first (after the steady improvement on Copia and Miniatures I was expecting Similes to be pretty much the greatest ambient album ever) but by a minute into the song my attitude was that I can definitely see Eluvium+vocals being amazing for what it is, even if it isn't the followup to Copia and Miniatures that I was anticipating (which is still very disappointing, but oh well, maybe next time.) My only real complaint is, why does someone born in Tennessee and living in Oregon think he needs to affect a British accent? (Although, do we know for sure that that's even Cooper and that he isn't using guest vocalists?)
