@twajjo What the hell are you talking about? The site's not without its flaws but the scrobbler works fine except when there are technical issues, which happen with every website/program/app from time to time. Anyway, I can't say enough great things about Duke Ellington. It would be almost impossible to overstate Ellington's importance to Jazz/American music. I would say that he's the best American composer of the 20th century, possibly the greatest American composer of all time, and very likely the most important musical figure of the 20th century as well. His significance as one of the first black composers/musicians to be recognized as a great artist is imperative, too. He made masterpiece after masterpiece and incorporated countless styles of music into his own work, always retaining his own personal style and vision. If there were a Mt. Rushmore for American music his would have to be the first face to be chiseled into its side.

an interviewer asks Duke Ellington “Where did you get your ideas from?” The response: “The ideas? Oh, man, I got a million dreams. That’s all I do is dream. All the time.” The man then asks, “I thought you played piano?” Ellington responds, “No, this is not piano. This is dreaming.”
