Short "Ici" is one of the best examples of using two saxes.

Fantastic album! DMG: "Sixth superb release from alto sax great David Binney, featuring an all-star cast with Chris Potter, tenorsax; Craig Taborn, piano; Adam Rogers, guitars; Scott Colley, bass; Brian Blade on drums. All leaders on their own as well. Both Dave and former bandmate in Lost Tribe, Adam Rogers, have a talent for writing enchanting melodies in the post-Miles mode. Rich and intoxicating melodies that allow for strong soloing from all players. --- Both Dave on alto and Chris on tenor (saxes) have warm, luscious tones and sound really beautiful on the couple of exquisite ballads found here, "Lisliel" and the magnificent closer "California", which has one the most marvelous and memorable melodies I've heard in years. Although it sounds like it would perfect for the theme for some modern love story, it is still not corny either. Chris Potter gets a chance to stretch out on "Frez" and takes a fine, Trane-ish solo, with Dave also wailing in a later solo.
