Trigger Control is coming soon!!!

Home again, home again, jiggedy jig! After a year
overseas, it is nice to be back. So, once I got home, I realized
that an upgrade to my computer was in order. I completed said
upgrade, and have updated the site as well. I hope that you
enjoy the new look. Many new songs are on the way... true sub
killers, all. I have posted a couple of sample tracks on the
homepage. While uploading ...

Okay, so it's been entirely too long between updates, and if
downloads and bandwidth are any indication, there are actually
people out there waiting for these updates! So here we go...
Finished three tracks here in beautiful Afghanistan. Not an
easy task, I assure you. We will be releasing a special
edition "All Vocals" CD with 5 tracks from "Electronicity" along
with an additional 4 or 5 unreleased tracks. This is a
collaboration album between Julia from "Ode To The Marionette" and
myself and will be out early to mid 2011. Artwork is mostly
done and will be released under an undetermined name and
title. That's it for now!

Well, it's been w while since the last update. Sorry
for that! Anyways, I am working on yet more music, but not in
North America, or Asia; this time, I am making what I can in the
Middle East! That said, I hope everyone is enjoying the new
album. I haven't got any hate mail or bad reviews, but my
fanbase keeps growing, so I guess that's a good thing. I will
do a very thorough update for the site when I get back to the
states in a few weeks. It is verrrrrrrrry slow going on the
internet where I am. This is why there are so few songs on
the music page now...:( It took almost three hours ...

Electronicity is at the duplication facility as I type
this. March 9th is the target date, with lag time expect to
be able to purchase the full 15 track CD by mid-March. Julia, the
front woman for Ode To The Marionette and Julia And The
Unexpecteds, has contributed a great deal to this album, and it
would not be the same if not for her beautiful voice. I would
like to take this time to thank her publicly for a job well
done. Thank you sis! Now, onward. The licensing
for the Beastie Boys and for Trifonic could not be worked out in
time for this release; I have an attribution license, so I AM able
to give them to you ...

For this month's RSS feed, I will be including a song from
the very first CD US Experimental ever released. The song is
called "Bumblebee Waltz" and was performed and sequenced way back
in 1995 on a Yamaha workstation. This is the first song that
I ever sequenced. It is also the first song I composed each
part for. Most of the samples sound pretty terrible. Of
course, terrible is always a matter of opinion... Enjoy

Time once again for an update. First off, the
RSS/Podcasts up to this point have been focused on releasing older
material; that's all going to change. USX Sound Lab III will be
finished by June, so you can expect a much more informative (and
much improved) podcast in the future. Secondly, since USX III
will be completed, lyrics can finally be recorded for the remainder
of the Urban Kingdoms tracks that need vocals. Here are the
projected dates: Mid-June: Vocals will be recorded on the
remainder of songs that require them. July 1st: Urban Kingdoms goes
to manufacture. Early August: FINALLY available online for
download/hard copy purchase. Here is a very old track called
"Mighty In The Distance". Very experimental and early example
of a ...

The past two months have been busy as hell... I had to go to
two boards, and have been working on everything from organizing my
equipment to working on Urban Kingdoms and trying to juggle my full
time job as a U.S. Soldier. That said, I haven't even
considered my RSS. My apologies to the ones out there who
read this regularly. I have to go to a month long training
session, then more training after that. I hope to be done by
October! I really hate that I will have to put off doing some
of the things that I wanted to do. More WILL come, that I
promise you. Meanwhile, I dug in the archives and found
another ...

Uncle Sam moved me to Kentucky, so it's been busy busy.
Not too busy to start the new RSS segment, though. It is now
in audio format, so download it and soak up the news.

It's been a month, and alot has been accomplished; USX Sound
Lab III is at the halfway point, artwork is finally finished, and
of course the site got a major overhaul. The old colour
scheme and layout was such that integrating new elements was
difficult. I decided after a lot of deliberation on the
design you see now; I think it's cleaner and should be easier to
update and work with. Now that little remains to do on Urban
Kingdoms, I've freed up some time to experiment with some different
software etc. One piece of software that I am growing ever more
fond of is LMMS. It is open source and is available for free
for multiple formats. I know that many of ...
