I just can't fathom I'm alone in thinking this an end of the world song. I don't see how it can be about male/female relationship, though the pure X&Y chromosomes science jargon I can relate to. C'mon it's a Global Warming song...surely anyone, any takers...anyone? Mr Martin?"
