Really suprised it was never released as a single, but knowing the infamous Radio1 playlist at the time it would never have got any airplay. A great opening track on an album with no weak songs. If only the present Yes material was half as good as this.

Chris's nick name was Fish, before the Scottish guy out of Marillion, and along with Bill Bruford he made up a red hot rythm section. Just listen to Bill's snare drum work on this track and on Lucky Seven.

People who did not see Yes in the 70's missed out on Chris Squire being as loud as he wanted. He has always been impressive with his power and style of play. First time I heard Yes, was in 1971 and I was immediately hooked. I have played guitar forever and whenever I tried to pick up a bass, thought it should be played as a lead instrument. Squire Rocks!

The man knows what he wants from a bass, and it turns out its exactly what I want too. He really does play it like a lead guitar, amazing!

The quality of this particular recording is fantastic. The lead bass line is really punched up. Love this tune and the segue into "You By My Side"

I agree, the best player player of all time. He could play a base like others play lead guitar.

GREAT song from a GREAT album. In addition to the fantastic bass playing Bruford's drumming on this is also excellent.
