La Chick Corea Elektric Band, liderada por el renombrado pianista Chick Corea, es una de las bandas de jazz-fusion más aclamadas por la critica en las dos últimas décadas.

Después de la desaparición de Return to Forever, Corea fundo el conjunto en 1986. The Elektric Band tiene un estilo muy diferente en en comparación con Return to Forever: significa un alejamiento de la fusión orientada al rock para adoptar un estilo más post-bob. Después de un largo paréntesis, la banda volvió a reunirse para producir el album To the Stars in 2004.

Chick set a new standard when he arrived back in the 70's with his 'Return To Forever' band. After much refining, he finally got what he wanted (check out his albums: 'Leprechan', 'My Spanish Heart', and of course the classic 'Romantic Warrior'. There hasn't been anyone to take his place yet. Long live the Chick Corea universe.
