Chapterhouse fue una banda británica de shoegazing de principios de los noventa, originarios de Reading, Berkshire, Inglaterra. Formados en 1987 por Andrew Sherriff y Stephen Patman, la banda comenzó a tocar junto con Spacemen 3.

Saw Chapterhouse over 10 times and they were excellent live. Whirlpool lacks the kick-ass of them live though. I found it a real disappointment. Not rubbish, just it shoulda been something incredible - chance missed; i blame robin guthrie.
