Catman Cohen es un músico y compositor controvertido, creador de «The Catman Chronicles», una colección de canciones que tienen temas relacionados con la vida, la muerte y los sueños.

Descritas como la decadencia del Post Rock, las canciones de Cohen surgen de una base de activismo social, principalmente para pedir una resurrección de los héroes desatendidos (por ejemplo, enfermeras, médicos, maestros, bomberos, etc), un alegato en favor de la asistencia a los que no tienen una alimentación adecuada o el cuidado de la salud, y un grito de urgencia los esfuerzos correctivos para evitar una inminente crisis de agua dulce. Son varias las organizaciones asociadas con las misiones sociales de Catman Cohen, entre las que se incluyen el Instituto Gesundheit, Voluntarios sin fronteras; Enfermeras para un mañana más sano; Fundación Canadiense de Enfermeras, Instituto del Pacífico, y el Proyecto Planeta Azul.

Hasta la fecha, su publicidad se compone de fotos sombrías, y su biografía oficial no incluye datos tales como fecha y lugar de nacimiento, y otros detalles personales. Él cree que los artistas deben pasar a un segundo plano para que la sociedad pueda cambiar su atención hacia diversas vocaciones fundamentales que están en crisis.

Cohen rechaza entrevistas, y en su lugar pide que la haga un activista social la haga en vez de él, afirmando que tienen cosas más urgentes e importantes que decir acerca del mundo.

    I can only think of a few genre tags, that would truly fit Catman. I chose as my top tag. Am currently enjoying his albums "on-demand", at Spotify. Love his extraordinary and unique music style.

    The minute I heard this artist I knew I'd found what I've been looking for for many years: the modern Leonard Cohen. His lyrics but especially his music mark him out as an artist not just exceptional but actually possessed on genuine genius. I have not felt so excited about a musical discovery for many, many years. I have bought all his albums and will unleash them upon Last, so doubtlessly the songs will eventually circulate to all who want to know more.
