Camera Obscura es un grupo indie de Glasgow, Escocia, formado en 1996 por Tracyanne Campbell, John Henderson, y Gavin Dunbar. En septiembre de 2005, la banda empezó a grabar su nuevo álbum que se llamaría «Let’s Get Out of This Country», con el productor sueco Jari Haapalainen. Este álbum salió al mercado el 6 de junio de 2006. El primer single extraído del disco es un tributo a Lloyd Cole y se llama «Lloyd, I’m Ready to be Heartbroken».

2) Banda británica de minimal synth (también Camera · Obscura). Fue formada en el invierno del 1982 por Nigel James y Peter Oldroyd.
‘Destitution’ y ‘Race in Athens’ fue el primer sencillo del duo grabado en Small Wonder Records en la primabera del 1983, seguido por ‘Village of Stars’ con ‘Insect’ para el lado B, en Londres, en el estudio Atmosphere. Estos temas nunca vieron la luz.
Camera Obscura tocaron muchas veces en vivo por estas fechas y conformaron hacia el 1985 una alineación en la banda de cuatro integrantes (Gary Scargill y Rob Gospel ingresaron) y el cuarteto formó Paradise Now en el ‘86. Nigel se separó de la banda en 1987 y fue reemplazado por Steve Wright de «Fiat Lux». Lamentablemente esta banda terminó aquí.

Love this Band who trust me are better live,saw them three times in 20007.Lets get out of this Country is My fave Album of theirs and the Cover is a Beauty...Last time i saw them they Encored with a Cover of "Super Trouper" always one of my fave Abba Songs..Hearing that as i came loaded from the bar with Beer..i thought Fuck this Band keep getting better.Only bad experience at a Camera Obscura Gig was getting near the Stage as they were leaving it,leaning over to pick up the set list when the lead singer turned around picked it up and gave it to some Bird(She wasn't even Pretty) in the Audience..trully peed about that.................................Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
