They're one of the very few bands whose quiet parts sound just as convincing as their extremely heavy parts. Just listen to the transition from Afgamistam to Micaragua. Blows me away every time.

Afghamistam is an incredible song. It really shows how diverse Botch could be, and how that even though they made a song completely out of character, it could still be just as good as the rest of their material.
