Your attention to the church bells near the end of the song.

The earth has been blackened...quite soothing even though pleasantly dark!

With all the bla bla about how depressing, suicidal, dark and "horror-jazz" like this band is, this is the only really bleak song they ever made. Perfekt for the darkest of summernights in a room so hot even breathing in the rhythm of this song is a challenge. With all the ingredients of Black Earth, this is definetly the best song to end this album. Putting the album name into sound perfectly.

@2ool SOMEBODY needs to listen to the albums Blackwater Park and Back to times of Splendor. Also, I actually prefer Dead End Angels to this song, IMO, this is the weakest track on the album, it's dark, but as a result is too monotonous for me, lacks the minimalism of Midnight Radio but also the substance of the rest of Black Earth. BUT HEY, that is just me.

most of their songs are dark, but this has no light or hope in it good stuff and yes that bass is amazing

Certainly one of the best album closers ever recorded. Makes you want to curl up into yourself.

    The best on the album.
