I just now learned of his death over a year ago and had no idea. I am very saddened by this. Apparently, complications from a serious car crash in 1980 left him unable to play guitar during the last year or so of his life.

Just discovered this guy. Absolutely amazed about him. And then, just as I was about to look if he was giving a show in my country, I discoverd he commited suicide just a couple of weeks a go. RIP.

I Was Trying to Describe You to Someone by Richard Brautigan I finally ended up describing you as a movie I saw when I was a child in Tacoma Washington. I guess I saw it in 1941 or 42, somewhere in there. I think I was seven, or eight, or six. The movie showed electricity like a young Greek god, coming to the farmer to take away forever the dark ways of his life. Suddenly, the farmer had electric lights to see by when he milked his cows in the early black winter mornings. The family got to listen to the radio & have a toaster and lots of bright lights to sew dresses and read the newspaper by. It was really a fantastic movie and excited me like listening to the Star Spangled Banner, or seeing photographs of Roosevelt, or hearing him on the radio "... the President of the United States... " I wanted electricity to go everywhere in the world. I wanted all the farmers in the world to be able to listen to Roosevelt on the radio.... And that's how you look to me.

I lost my CD , Ocean Blues (Djeli Moussa Diawara & Brozman from 2000), which is not available anymore for order , neither on Amazon nor on Brozman's site. Does anyone know where it's purchaseable? As a disc?

it seems that most people play all the really popular artists, yet more obscure artists have more tracks available but nobody listens to them.this is great music though.
