Blitz fue una banda de StreetPunk de New Mills, Derbyshire. A lo largo de su historia, la formación ha estado compuesta por Carl Fisher, Nidge Miller, Shawn Attack, Paul Lilley, Neil McLennan, Charlie Howe y Steve Cast. Según el periodista Garry Bushell, inventor del termino Oi!, el grupo fue incluído en la lista de los grupos que formaron dicho estilo, en la segunda oleada del punk.
En febrero de 2007, murió, el guitarra y cantante Nidge Miller, tras tener un accidente de coche.
Sus discos son, Voice of a Generation (1982), Second Empire Justice (1983), Blitzed - An All Out Attack (1988), The Killing Dream (1989), Best of Blitz (1993), Blitz Hits (1994), The Complete Blitz Singles Collection (1999), Voice of a Generation: The No Future Years (2000), Punk Singles & Rarities 1980-83 (2001) y Never Surrender (Best Of) (2005)
